5/17/06
Better day today. Cool and pretty. After coffee, we went out for buscuits and gravy, then on to Carlsbad Cavern. It is fantastic. I think early architects must have been inspired by cave when they built cathedrals. Vaulted ceilings and alcoves and niches. The Big Room certainly had that feeling. The drive up and back was beautiful. I was able to find a wild flower guide and we bought our National Park passes. On the way home, we went to a junky museum and a very nice small museum in Carlsbad. Did laundry later, then dinner and TV. We're both tuckered out and Jigger is ready for her tuffet.
